Our cat did that once and our tree was absolutely ruined, mind you this was a pretty big tree. We made sure whenever we put up a tree no matter what size that the cat was to stay out of that room.

this is my favorite "Simon's Cat" video.....my cat actually did this, ...the tree was ruined, and we did not have one that year, was not funny at the time, but glad to see I'm not alone!!!
