Simon says:

"In late 2008 the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty To Animals (RSCPA) contacted me to ask if I could help raise awareness for the growing problem of pet obesity. I was asked to come up with an appropriate idea that while entertaining, would highlight a very serious animal welfare issue.

The film was partnered with the RSPCA's 'Give Animals a Voice!' website which also showed the film in the run up to the 2008 holiday season."
