The event took place at the Prince Charles cinema in Leicester Square, London. Special invitations were sent out to competition winners from the Simon's Cat website, as well as winners from the Daily Mirror newspaper. In the photo above you can see Simon's Cat took over the sign outside!

 

 

 

 

Simon started by showing some of the earlier films. Then he introduced his new film 'Double Trouble' .

 

 

 

 

It was great to see Simon's Cat on the big screen. This was the first time a Simon's Cat film has ever premiered in a cinema! It was lovely to share the launch of a new film and book this way, with so many of you actually there with us.

 

 

 

 

Afterwards Simon demonstrated how to draw all the Simon's Cat characters and also took requests! We also had a surprise for everyone on the night. We gave everyone a brand new copy of Simon's Cat in Kitten Chaos as well as a big goody bag stuffed with Simon's Cat goodies.
