One thing I have noticed about my cats is that everything has to be on their own terms...including breakfast.

Jess will keep me awake all night trying to get some more fuss. Hugh and Teddy will wake me up in the morning so I can feed them and big Maisy has started to stratch at the window at night so I can let her in.

However, when I get up early sometimes for work they will all sleep on and ignore me. When I do manage to get them up they plod down the stairs like grumpy children with long faces. That is all but Maisy, who I have to go and fetch from the bedroom so the others don't eat her food.  She is never very amused and lets me know it.
